Carnations

Carnations come in large-flowered and spray varieties. A large-flowered variety has one larger bloom per stem, while a spray variety has several smaller blooms. When choosing, consider whether the bouquet should look simple with individual blooms or fuller with several blooms on each stem. After receiving the bouquet, recut the stems and place the flowers in clean water.
